Spencer Pratt just said what way too many politicians are too scared to admit. “These people do NOT want a bed. They want fentanyl or supermeth. These ideas cost us over $400M” I love watching his campaign Make this guy Mayor of LA

Brigham Young outmaneuvered some of the greatest players of his era, robber barons and railroad kings, newspaper magnates, mining giants and Washington politcos, culture leaders and religious demogogues and Union generals, all of which were hellbent on the church's destruction. It was full on Borgias vs the Medicis out here in the rockies and we survived them all. He made friends and allies with the ones he could and isolated and outflanked the rest. We would be wise to study him.

The first correspondence was sent from UVU Dec,. 17th showing University leadership was aware of posts McMahon had made after the death of Charlie Kirk. "We appreciated your words of support for UVU in the days following the Sept. 10 tragedy on campus. That meant a great deal to us. You have always been a powerful voice for education and thoughtful dialogue, and your message resonates in Utah and with our UVU community ..."

@Manhattva Blake was just a nail in the coffin. SB 54 was the hinge point. The Olympics brought in a lot of out of state weirdos like Nate Blouin. The legislature rolled out the red carpet for socialist tech bros at Silicon Slopes. The “affordable housing” push only makes us more urban. IMO

@PubliusDB Not necessarily. I agree that he is our best jurist. But the dems lost a seat because Ginsberg couldn’t see the writing on the wall with her age

@BasedMikeLee I agree that he is the best jurist we have. But he is old. Never forget that the dems could have replaced Ginsburg but her pride got in the way. Now we have the 6-3 majority. It is t worth giving up.

@wanderingdave It would help to see the texts. Also, Lindsay didn’t state that someone from Reymann’s firm was the head of the judicial commission

This seems like a real stretch going after the judge. If she recused herself and it didn't impact a court decision then what's the big deal? Why are we wasting more tax payer money on some divorce drama ?

Let's walk through what we know -- and don't know -- in the allegations against Justice Diana Hagen after a judicial conduct complaint claims she had an affair with one of the lead lawyers on Utah's redistricting case. 🧵 abc4.com/news/politics/…

Obviously, Republican state leaders say they should -- especially because Tobin Hagen hasn't shown the text messages to the JCC. Meanwhile, the Utah Supreme Court is decrying that the records were released at all.

@Manhattva @BasedMikeLee 2/2 It was next investigated by her friends on the Utah Supreme Court. They cleared her. Now they’re upset an independent investigation is happening? Starting to make me think we are living in the Book of Mormon reign of judges!

@Manhattva @BasedMikeLee 1/2 So let’s get this straight. She was romantically communicating with the attorney in the redistricting case (Reymann). This was first investigated by the judicial nominating commission which is headed by someone in Reymann’s firm. They cleared her.

The Utah Supreme Court: “We have investigated ourselves, and our investigation found our colleague to be totally innocent, and know you’re not allowed to look at the records related to the investigation, who we spoke to or how we reached this conclusion.” Disgusting.

The issue was reportedly looked into by the Judicial Conduct Commission who found "insufficient evidence" to pursue it further. Utah Democrats are calling into question the need for the extra investigation.

JUST IN: Utah's top state leaders say they'll investigate Utah Supreme Court Justice Diana Hagen after a report detailed a judicial probe into alleged inappropriate text messages with a lawyer on the redistricting case. Hagen strongly denies it, the lawyer called it false.

@mjolley22 Two thoughts: 1) it’s a little shameful that a DC outlet found this material before any UT outlets. Shows the bias of our local media and tbe pass they give democrats. 2) most out of state socialist Dems in UT believe what Nate is saying. They just aren’t dumb enough to say it.

Warning: repulsive content below. Blake Moore’s Prop 4 is what made it possible for an extremist like Nate to be a frontrunner in a Congressional race in Utah.

>@allymutnick in @PunchbowlNews AM: A top Democrat running for an open congressional seat in Utah has authored a slew of offensive posts on internet forums, denigrating Mormons and making crass jokes about women and sexual assault. Here’s just a sampling of the posts written more than a decade ago by Utah state Sen. @NateForUtah: – Blouin recommended buying a GoPro camera “for filming porn with your underage sister.” – Blouin repeatedly referred to people as “cunts,” used the word “retarded” and threatened to “skull fuck” someone. – Blouin described the Church of the Latter-day Saints as “a bunch of bigoted assholes” with an “ideology fostering ignorance and intolerance.” – Blouin called Mormons the worst part of living in Utah and wrote that the “LDS church is DEFINITELY just a front for the largest US drug cartel.” – Blouin said an LDS missionary visiting his house had inadvertently seen a pornographic image he was viewing. – Blouin also said he “took a shit in the corner of an LDS church parking lot.” punchbowl.news/archive/41526-…

Protecting Utah’s future requires more than symbolic gestures. It takes bringing people together, solving hard problems, and delivering results that last. I’ve done that work. In Congress, I’ll fight to protect our public lands by sponsoring the Central Wasatch National Conservation and Recreation Area Act and the America’s Red Rock Wilderness Act. benmcadamsutah.com/strength-not-t…
