@HillardSch8989 I actually thought Awesome Aaron gave Navajo Warrior significant pressure as they approached the far turn. I'm not too concerned about the fractions. Look at where Awesome Aaron ended up. He was buried by Navajo Warrior.

What a nice effort from Navajo Warrior in the Pimlico Special at Laurel. He took all the heat up front and still kicked in through the stretch.

I'll go with Navajo Warrior in the Pimlico Special at Laurel. I'm impressed with how he mowed down a loose Gosger at Gulfstream, and they were well clear of the rest. I had to think about this for a second to realize it, but Navajo Warrior is a half to Weep No More and Currrent

So who sets the pace in the Preakness Stakes? Taj Mahal or Napoleon Solo? I've heard a number of people say Napoleon Solo, but Taj Mahal is on the rail. I just assume Taj Mahal will go for it, especially with how he opened up by 10 in the first quarter of the Federico Tesio.

My final Black-Eyed Susan - Preakness Stakes Double is Holly's Holiday, My Miss Mo with Incredibolt. I wish I could use more horses, but given My Miss Mo and Incredibolt are possible favorites, I have to keep it simple. Incredibolt might be a mild favorite, maybe 4-1.

I prefer Final Story in the Sir Barton Stakes at Laurel Park tomorrow, although I'm not sure about the value since Brad Cox trains. Reagan's Story runs great when he can set the pace. There is other speed in this race though, and Final Story looks like he can adapt to stalking.

Glad I included My Miss Mo in my double after initially thinking I'd single Holly's Holiday in the Black-Eyed Susan Stakes. Holly's Holiday tried to move in between horses on the far side and seemed to get discouraged when there was no room.

My Miss Mo is the early 2-1 favorite in the Black-Eyed Susan Stakes, although there's only $76k in the pool. The ML favorite Jumping the Gun is 7-1. That sounds accurate. She will probably stay around the 6-1 or 7-1 range.

I don't understand the picks for Great White in the Preakness Stakes. Even if I could believe he doesn't want to be a pacesetter, it's hard to forgive that severe of a fade in the Blue Grass. He lost by 22 lengths. Even if I subtract Further Ado, he was still 11 back of Ottinho.

I don't agree that Napoleon Solo is a sprinter at this point. He's got mostly a decent route pedigree. He was burned by the pace scenario in the Wood Memorial Stakes. Let's see. If he runs poorly in the Preakness Stakes, maybe I'll jump on board that he's a sprinter/miler.
