Just took my 4th microdose of tirzepatide (aka Mounjaro) a GLP-1. I've been really surprised by the results, in a positive way. Here are a few things I've noticed: - The weight just... vanishes. Like vaporizes. I'm down about >7lbs in less than a month and haven't been this weight since probably 2002. - The most shocking part to me is my appetite is not radically different. I do slow down at meals, and I tend not to get seconds or clean my kids' plates. But it's subtle, not overt. - The first two weeks I didn't notice anything, I forgot I even took it. Aside from a bout of crazy burps (like Buddy-the-elf-drank-the-Coke burps) I have not had much in the way of negative symptoms. A couple days of mild constipation quickly disappeared. - I was ****highly skeptical**** of all this. I have owned a natural health supplement company for 15 years. This is anathema for me. I was wrong. This stuff works, it's safe, and it's going to change medicine forever. - The 1.5mg microdose is so absurdly small I thought it was all a waste of time. I was wrong about this too. Just 1.5mg a week had a profound effect. - Some chronic back stiffness is now gone. I think it's related to the weight loss, but this is obvi welcome. I have been doing absurd amounts of mobility work for years that never moved the needle. This solved it in a few weeks. - The lower weight has had a noticeable effect on my cardio fitness, I can go longer, faster, harder now. - The needle is so tiny I barely notice inserting it. Needle-phobics can do this, easily. - I did a dexa scan Wednesday and I have not lost any muscle. The scan would imply that most of the weight I have lost is water, my adipose is largely unchanged. Still, I'll take all this as positive progress. - More importantly, I am not weaker. I have been hammering heavy weightlifting in response and my strength is good and getting better. - The confidence boost when removing my shirt in public is well worth the relatively low price of admission. - Speaking of price, I think most people will easily pay for the modest price (my microdosing program is $99/mo) with lower food bills Overall I am impressed and excited to keep going. Here is Peter Thiel’s email to Zuck and Andreessen in Jan-2020 predicting socialism. Tl;dr too much student debt and lack of affordable housing keeps young people with negative capital for too long. And without a stake in the capitalist system, they will turn against it.

AI fuels the market and the market gives legitimacy to the government (the latitude during a bull run is different than that allowed during a downturn!). But now AI companies are turning into social media platforms to keep the loop alive, which is usually a last resort monetization model (ads!). Stocks don’t care… but gold is the best performing asset this year? Gold rises on fear, AI on faith - two hedges against the same underlying uncertainty. Speculation has become governance and everything literally is AI. Link in next post!

This is not a bubble. Cisco in 1998-2002 vs Nvidia in 2020-2024 The data says this cycle is different, and AI is still so early for most parts of the world. Cisco was a valuation story, price inflated while earnings lagged then the multiple deflated. Nvidia is an earnings story, price climbs alongside surging earnings. x.com/Speculator_io/…
