My having been a waitress makes me 1000x more qualified to govern on behalf of working people than whatever lifelong politician nonsense you’ve swung from your whole career.
Why should working people vote for you if this is what you think of them?

Retail investors need to realize that companies have a set of tools at their disposal to raise capital when they're in distress.
Its more advantageous to issue debt than it is to issue equity. Many reasons for this. One being that debt is prioritized by senior creditors in bankruptcy if its secured. Creditors are willing to provide loans which allow them to claim assets if the company goes bankrupt.
Companies would prefer to avoid issuing equity when they are struggling because the dilution effects on shareholders is terrible. Especially in tickers with low volume. It drives the price down and pisses off existing shareholders who are more likely to see it as an act of desperation and sell, contributing to the loss of market cap from ongoing issuance
The difference in memestock communities is that retail traders continue to believe its somehow "bullish". If a company can dilute without the blowback from retail investors, while mitigating loss on market cap, they'll do it all day long. There's no incentive to naked short sell because liquidity is so high.
#AMC and #BBBYQ shareholders who hyped these issuances contributed to their own demise. It wasnt fraud- you were played.
#GME was no different, but we paid off debt and sat on cash. Consistent increases in NAV / share proves RC made the right play.

@magsonthemoon It feels like a fishing expedition. Feels like "someone" is looking for an angle to stop the inevitable.

@RonScherer8 @FlowbyBobby Some of the days 50 is above the VWAP and so is price action. I'm guessing.
English

@CaptMichael25 @FlowbyBobby Hey Michael, pull up a 3 minute chart and look at the 50 EMA. compare today and the past three days. Do you see anything?
English

@PhantomBlack699 @AustinTobitt And Sal, the motive behind this all? The GME split dividend that didn't go as intended. He was pissed.
English

@AustinTobitt That's fine, if it was public then everyone would know his strategy and it wouldn't be questionable today.
I'm happy to wait it out and be correct, as soon as Ryan presses the button.
There's too much smoke for there not to be fire, those who saw the opportunity seized it.
English

@AustinTobitt @PhantomBlack699 IMO - he tried to buy it once debt and all. They told him no. Now, he's going to get it and make the people who told him no pay for it.
English

@PhantomBlack699 I appreciate this explanation, but if his interest is in BuyBuyBaby, why didn't he just bid on it when they were selling the assets? Why go through all of this hassle?
English

@AustinTobitt @magsonthemoon @byebyeshorters The fraud destroying the company for no reason but profit. If the fraud is proven is sets precedence for EVERY naked shorted company on the exchanges
English

@CaptMichael25 @magsonthemoon @byebyeshorters If that's the case, the fraud would be from Ryan not disclosing this major conflict of interest...
English

@AustinTobitt @magsonthemoon @byebyeshorters No. The only way this holds water is if some firm is acting on his behalf. IMO
English

@CaptMichael25 @magsonthemoon @byebyeshorters Wait... RC is involved by proxy? Is this disclosed somewhere?
English

@AustinTobitt @magsonthemoon @byebyeshorters He didn't need to. Already did by proxy. He (and possibly others) will be a bank, have the Nols from YQ, be CEO of GME and have some undervalued (naked shorted) companies under the umbrella of Teddy (dkbutterfly).
English

This is the most helpful, straight forward response ive had to this question. So thank you Mags 🙏❤️
For the reported offer of $400m, was there confirmation of this along with the rejection? Or is has this been disclosed in court documents after the fact?
Regardless of the answer to that, I guess im struggling to understand why RC didnt post an offer on anything after bankruptcy when the bidding period was open 🤔
