I always find if I’m practicing something during the day, I suck at it for the rest of the day no matter what. Then I sleep, wake up, and try the thing I was practicing the day before and it immediately feels way easier. I know that sounds like the very definition of practice, but I feel like sleep really cements those new neural pathways in an important way.

What's everyone's theories about sleep ? Please don't regurgitate something you read, because science doesn't know. Why does a well-fed body need rest ? Why do we have to stop physically functioning for 6-8 hours EVERY day ?

The rallying around Crimson Desert as a game that NEEDS to succeed and be really fun in order to somehow own the libs is a generally fascinating and confounding phenomenon that seemed to come out of nowhere.

Played Crimson Desert for 2 hours and I decided to just get a refund. It's not a bad game, the combat is great and the world is beautiful, but the story, controls and side characters and NPC's are god awful. I don't like playing too many open world games at the same time and I went in expecting an experience similar to Witcher 3 or Red Dead Redemption or Assassins Creed (1-3 not the newer AC games) and it wasn't even close to that. I was expecting to get to a point where I would start having fun and 2 hours in and I wasn't having fun at all. I'll wait for Tides of Annihilation and Phantom Blade 0 to scratch that Action game itch.
