The new cannonball slow effect seems to remove the only counterplay as a smaller solo ship , speed. If a group now decides to cannon you its just over, nothing can be done. Really not a great change IMO. The tradeoff between size and speed should always be relevant @playrust

From a french speaking perspective, this collaboration between Facepunch and Kick feels quite unusual. The platform has been heavily criticized here for allegedly ignoring around a hundred reports of abuse that actually led to someone’s death live on stream… I see that most of the criticism on the english side focuses on gambling, but for us, Kick is mainly known as a platform created for Twitch’s outcasts, people who were banned or who kept complaining about Twitch’s increasingly strict moderation. Kick even built its early communication around that idea. There’s also the whole harassment and racism issue. For example, when I open Kick right now, one of the featured streamers is someone widely known in the french community for harassment and racist behavior (YT and X)… it’s honestly surreal. So yeah, I’m really torn about this partnership, it doesn’t sit right with me. I initially thought, "Okay, I guess Facepunch isn’t going in blindly and maybe Kick is moving toward stronger moderation, plus we might discover new faces since some streamers are Kick exclusives." But apparently not, they’re bringing back mostly the same people (with a few exceptions) and doing the same thing all over again. In short, it feels like a slippery slope… but I guess that’s how it is. (yes chatgpt translation because I'm at office 😆)

Fuck I hate Rust night time. The urgency to leave the base the moment you see a sliver of light so you can MAYBE do the monument or even get there before night starts to creep in. The fact you don’t go do something or end a roam early, purely because it’s almost night time. The fact you can be roaming around or heading home and start a fight at SOMEONE ELSES BASE and YOU KILL THEM but before you can LOOT your KILLS they get to their FUCKING ROOF and ROOFCAMP or PIN YOU at one point of cover only FOR IT TO START TURNING NIGHT and YOU GET FLANKED by some FUCKING JACKOFF WITH NVGS because LORD FORBID YOU TAKE A FIGHT AT A DISADVANTAGE IN RUST, LORD FORBID YOU KILL THEM SO THEY CAN GRAB NVGS and SLAM YOUR ASS FROM THE SHADOWS Fuck Rust night time. Why do we have to do this cycle over and over where we put up with it for 2 years for it to be fixed for 1 and then repeats.

Hey Sleth I know you love it when I reply but I just wanted to clear up some misinformation. 🫶 -You reported this user once, 10 days ago. Premium servers did not exist 10 days ago. -This user was gamebanned by EAC 5 days ago off Rusty Moose Main (not the premium one) (I have the receipts). -This user had zero steam Trades for the lifespan of that account. Only earned those two items in your screenshot through normal gameplay. -This user was never logged into any premium servers. I will also add in that we're fully aware of people's fears that this scenario will happen a lot. So far the data does not prove the masses are doing this. We're keeping a close eye on things and have the means to see such patterns. Once everything's been live a little longer we'll reassess. Hope that helps!

Got another cheater banned from premium servers but its always too late. They cheat, transfer their skins and move on to a new account. I think if the skins are recent, they shouldnt add to the $15 dollar mark to fix this issue. More so when the game and its DLC can be purchased through regional pricing (Im argentinian and Rust is $11.39 for me right now), and through this method just buy cheap accounts, transfers skins and repeat. You can even enter a premium server buying the game and 2 dlcs for less than $15 if they just use regional pricing. Cheats are only $8 per day and they even give you accounts to use. Premium needs some rework asap to save it

Also, rust nighttime is MEANT to be dark. It’s a SURVIVAL game, they have multiple tools to allow you to SEE in the dark. And YOU can evade/transfer/and do so many things that are advantageous at night. So many ppl want rust to be UKN large ffa with 100% visibility at all times

@SyFex_ I Love Hapis, but Trust me, it’s not worth your time and you won’t be making any money… Rather spent your time on a kinda of an AI Anti Cheat for rust. Which analysis BM Accounts, Steam Accounts etc in order to make a decision whether this player is good or sus 👍

@Alistair_McF I am playin the game since 2013. I got 20k+ hours and I love it. The only thing I would love to see is: Better graphics. I know Rust looks cool, and there are moments with a "wow factor". But comparing Rust with other games it somehow still feels a little 2015 ish like. <3
