@Ariatore Let's put it this way: while tau is a big update, they won't put out a small abridged update as the summer update, follie's update was supposed to be the abridged update before tau, how the lotus eaters came before 1999. If narmer goes into tau, then no need to end that story.

What the mass-reporters and bombers have done: - People bombed reviews for every mod on AyakaMods by making a new account. - People mass-reported mods on AyakaMods by making a new account with a VPN/Proxy server. - AyakaMods become malicious/virus from Virustotal - AyakaMods mail becomes phishing/spam from Daum/Gmail/Yahoo - Caused all ISPs to block or ban access to our site (if your ISP blocked us, you’ll need to contact them directly as the account holder to get the block removed. We can’t do it for you) Now, AyakaMods site has been marked “unsafe or malicious” by VPN and Antivirus software again after being mass-reported. I’ve contacted NordVPN, and they confirmed the marking was false. If you have NordVPN or any antivirus software, please test the site and let me know the result. You can DM me or post in the AyakaMods Discord server. Fuck you to CollectiveShout and people who have repeatedly mass-reported and bombed our site over and over again.

Hacking the #EU #AgeVerification app in under 2 minutes. During setup, the app asks you to create a PIN. After entry, the app *encrypts* it and saves it in the shared_prefs directory. 1. It shouldn't be encrypted at all - that's a really poor design. 2. It's not cryptographically tied to the vault which contains the identity data. So, an attacker can simply remove the PinEnc/PinIV values from the shared_prefs file and restart the app. After choosing a different PIN, the app presents credentials created under the old profile and let's the attacker present them as valid. Other issues: 1. Rate limiting is an incrementing number in the same config file. Just reset it to 0 and keep trying. 2. "UseBiometricAuth" is a boolean, also in the same file. Set it to false and it just skips that step. Seriously @vonderleyen - this product will be the catalyst for an enormous breach at some point. It's just a matter of time.

It didn't take long to find what looks like a serious #privacy issue. The app goes to great lengths to protect the AV data AFTER collection (is_over_18: true is AES-GCM'd); it does so pretty well. But, the source image used to collect that data is written to disk without encryption and not deleted correctly. For NFC biometric data: It pulls DG2 and writes a lossless PNG to the filesystem. It's only deleted on success. If it fails for any reason (user clicks back, scan fails & retries, app crashes etc), the full biometric image remains on the device in cache. This is protected with CE keys at the Android level, but the app makes no attempt to encrypt/protect them. For selfie pictures: Different scenario. These images are written to external storage in lossless PNG format, but they're never deleted. Not a cache... long-term storage. These are protected with DE keys at the Android level, but again, the app makes no attempt to encrypt/protect them. This is akin to taking a picture of your passport/government ID using the camera app and keeping it just in case. You can encrypt data taken from it until you're blue in the face... leaving the original image on disk is crazy & unnecessary. From a #GDPR standpoint: Biometric data collected is special category data. Unfortunately we have to cater to the lowest common denominator and in this case, the LCD is parents who give their kids free rein of today’s technology. Putting parental controls requires the parents to actually use them, and they don’t; so they had to enforce restrictions.

Saying this as non-offensively as possible bcz I have many YouTuber friends, but you can’t have it both ways. You either want the platform to be safe for kids, or you don’t, I don’t see any other way around it. Good to see they are locking it down more. Parents helpless I guess.

This is effectively killing kids ability to create a game on Roblox able to enjoyed by others. Requiring a subscription just for others to play your game is insane. If these requirements were a thing years ago then I doubt I would of ever started developing games in the first place. The fact that you were able to create a game which had a chance to be enjoyed by millions world wide no matter where you lived or how old you were is what made Roblox development so special to begin with. Roblox is changing the eligibility to upload games on the platform. To publish for all ages, you now need: - Roblox Plus; - ID Verification & Age Check; - 2-Step Verification enabled; - and have your account in "good standing". Roblox will additionally run games through trials to ensure engagement is legitimate and not from fake or bot accounts. To publish for Ages 16+ & Trusted Friends, you now need: - An account in "good standing"; - An age check; and - An account that is at least 2 days old. Any user on the platform, whether they meet any of the requirements, can still publish games for personal use. Roblox is stating they chose this requirements because "most creators already meet many of the criteria" and it will "make it more difficult for bad actors to bypass our moderation systems". Lastly, Roblox will make that transition by providing 100,000 users with a Free Roblox Plus subscription for 6 months. To be eligible, a user may have a minimum of 100 hours of total playtime on their game in the past month & no major violations of Roblox's Community Standards.
