Around four years ago today, I had a random encounter while ramming a ship where a shark was flipped into their map table area (on a sloop). It glitched around for a short while before warping back out through the hull and despawning. This proves it’s possible for a shark to actually enter a ship, and technically, with enough water on board, you could keep a pet shark below deck. One day, someone will make this happen. Maybe me, maybe you. But if YOU do, and capture the footage, you’ll earn an Obsidian Capstan and a Gilded Phoenix Crest.

I’m doing a lot better now and almost back to normal, just not quite at full energy yet. I was planning to stream today and was kind of pushing myself to make it happen, but I caught myself and realised this is one of those times where you actually need to listen to your body and mine is clearly telling me to slow down. So I’m going to take a bit more time and come back this Thursday. That also gives me a chance to put together a solid plan for content going forward.

@Captain_Falcore I've just been diagnosed with some fluid around a lung, they tried some antibiotics on me that brought to mind the unblocking of a damn video I saw a few years back, so I can sympathise!!

Falcore’s Stupid Gall Bladder Diary Day 3 at home I woke this morning to something I barely recognized anymore. Silence. Not outside, but inside my own body. My abdomen, once a battlefield of misery, had fallen eerily still. No stabbing, no twisting, just nothing. After six relentless days, the absence itself felt suspicious, like the calm after a storm that might return with vengeance. I dared to move. Slowly, cautiously, like a man testing ice that may yet crack beneath him. Three journeys to the PC were made today. Three triumphant pilgrimages followed immediately by a retreat back to bed, my kingdom of pillows and quiet suffering. It should feel pathetic, yet somehow it feels like progress. Food, however, has become my sworn enemy. Each bite carries a grim promise. An hour later, the antibiotics unleash their cruel spectacle, turning my insides into something chaotic and merciless. I will not describe it in detail, but it is as though my dignity dissolves with every visit to the toilet. Even my own body has turned against me. My poor, battered backside burns with betrayal. I clutch a pillow like a wounded soldier clinging to the last scrap of comfort. The wife watches on with what I can only interpret as emotional distance, refusing to lend even a sympathetic hand to the pillow. I suffer alone. Truly, this is a dark chapter. And yet, perhaps the cruelest curse of all is not the pain, nor the indignity, but the endless, suffocating boredom. Time stretches into something shapeless and heavy, each hour dragging its feet across my sanity. There is nothing to do but exist in this strange half-life of recovery, and so I write. I write because there is nothing else left to fight back with. Perhaps later I will watch a film. Something gentle. Something to distract from the quiet war within. I may even attempt a rice cake, though I do so knowing the consequences may once again come for me. TLDR: I'm doing much better today! But my pooper hurts and i'm bored.

@FailingToComply Oh I've got the low fat diet covered, I'm a bit of a self proclaimed chef so know how to make tasty meals with very low fat. The problem is at the moment, due to antibiotics, any food that goes in swiftly comes out the other end 🤣

@Captain_Falcore Some of the things i found would work for me during my fat-boycott were crumpets, Warburtons breakfast muffins, and the occasional handful of jelly tots.... alongside baked potatoes, chicken etc.

I should point out this isn't serious, just making something pointless into overly dramatic. Some people don't get dry humour!

@Captain_Falcore been there dude. that pain is straight terrible. Hopefully hospital is keeping you dosed up well.

The last few days have been harrowing, was rushed into hospital Wednesday evening with a very high CRP (infection markers in blood) but no clue what it was, long story short, Gall Stones. The staff have been lovely but this hospital has been a hell hole. I'm finally going home today and need bed rest and drinking buckets of antibiotics. So bare with me! But I'm all good now. It's been a very scary few days.

@Captain_Falcore Glad you're on the mend. I've been suffering with immense abdominal pain on and off for a long while, finally got diagnosed with Gallstones. Just waiting on a date for gallbladder removal surgery. The pain from them can be absolutely awful.. so I'm glad you're feeling better.
