Got to hang out with some extended family today and met the coolest little girl. She's not quite 3 years old and everywhere she went she had a big smile and said hello repeatedly to everyone. Literally smiled non-stop for a few hours then gave everyone a huge hug when it was time to go. I'm not sure what 2025 will look like but I hope I can be even be 1/10th the person she is this upcoming year!

From my book: Here’s what helps me decide whether to support sites for harm reduction: I try to imagine if it were my son/daughter/sister/friend who needed such a place. I might hope someday they would recover from dependence on substances. But 1st, they would need to stay alive.
