You're missing the overall point: Steelers fans don't care about Lamar Jackson because he's never been a consistent threat. You think Ben Roethlisberger wasn't let down by his teammates at times? But he's still hated in Cleveland and Cincy to this day because he elevated those around him when the game was on the line, far more often than not.

The Steelers OWN Lamar Jackson, why would they hate him? The real answer here is most likely either Joe Burrow or JaMarr Chase, among active players.
