Thread 1/3 I have a cautionary tale for you all. So I woke up this morning and noticed my nerd axe BTC miner lit up. I walked over to find a “Block Found” message!!!! My heart nearly stopped until I realised that particular machine (I have 3)

@Carl501429481 If you solved a block, your miner should show a best diff score higher than the difficulty. I've seen a couple of people get false notifications when the pool hit the block

@justh0dl Yes I thought that too but apparently when u find a block it doesn’t record that difficulty?? Not sure 🤔 seemed to line up timewise in the mempool

@Carl501429481 It seems like it's a glitch. Your best diff is 15.1G, not 139T+ In any case...

Thread2/3 was mining to a pool so I got a grand total of 0 BTC 😭 On the flip side, I feel so grateful that I got to experience it. I worked out there is a 1 in 3000 year chance of it happening (same as have the machine on 24/7 since the year 1000BC 😳)
