@owocki Composable fund-of-funds for participatory budgeting. Curators set allocation strategies, funders choose which strategies to back, recipients claim permissionlessly.

Ethereum has ENS for people. What about everything else? Two new ERCs: ERC-8185 — Off-Chain Entity Registry ERC-8186 — Claimable Escrow Pre-fund any entity before they're on-chain. The money waits for them. github.com/ethereum/ERCs/… github.com/ethereum/ERCs/…

I started the @nextjs you know today from a 𝚁𝙴𝙰𝙳𝙼𝙴.𝚖𝚍 specification. That was the singular commit that set it on the trajectory you see today. We proceeded to furiously write code for weeks as we saw a unique window to disrupt the React ecosystem, which primarily consisted of "boilerplate" repos and static-only tooling. I now believe most software (and companies) will start out as markdown files, but it's agents that will be doing the furious coding. And the releasing. And the maintenance. I'm pretty happy that the API we laid out is as relevant as ever today. It's simple, filesystem focused, and its principles remain unchanged. v0-nextjs-hello-world.vercel.app

Pop-up cities can be great, but have big issues: - Expensive to organize - Unaffordable to a lot of people - HEAVY burden for organizers When Vitalik started Ethereum, he was staying at anarchist squats. How do we attract new young Vitaliks? NOT by organizing popups at high end resorts which they cant afford. So how do we stop popup cities from being an elitist movement that eventually fizzles out because its unsustainable? We get more pragmatic. We ground them locally. Not by creating permanent nodes from scratch, but by finding highly aligned groups that already built foundations. Minimum viable node is basically a hotel/hostel w/ common area & a conference hall. More advanced would be eco-villages, which often gladly host people for free, if they‘re willing to contribute. Ideal model for permanent nodes because: - Its super cheap to start doing it - Crypto people gain real-life skills - It creates a positive impact locally - Grounds us locally & helps spread the message @syntonikka was really onto something with Agartha (curating such places), we really need a sort of "L2Beat but for pop-up locations". Looking at you @chancecollabs 👀 _______________________________________ In May 2026, i will attempt to organize a pop-up without any sponsors whatsoever, fully funded by attendees - and still cheaper than most popups so far. At the same time, it will be the only pop-up where organizers actually get to enjoy instead of burning out. More info soonish, DM if interested

🤖 What if AI agents could help allocate capital based on values and real impact, not just popularity? We just tested this idea with DeepGov’s AI Politicians — allocating $6K across 50 regenerative projects. Here’s what we learned 🧵👇

@owocki @dwddao Yes agree! this is where the credit assignment comes in. Ideally we'd like to generate an allocation table for all projects per agent (similar to the Impact Voting).

@CarlBarrdahl @dwddao id really love to be able to see which projects each politician would vote for.. so i can easily see which matches my values more tho i guess i could inspect the configuration for each politician to see? being able to both > being able to do 1 imo

hot take: devex does not matters. it is now ai-devex that matters. how easy is it for AI to understand your docs and correctly oneshot apps that work? one idea: all libraries/frameworks/tools should add an llms.txt that address common gotchas that AIs get wrong. try to oneshot an app using your docs, see what it consistently gets wrong, fix the docs or clarify more AI-specific context in llms.txt or an easily copy-paste snippet that developers can copy into cursor at the start of each project. solidity should do this scaffold-eth should do this hardhat vyper foundry etc etc

.@arbitrum & @gitcoin have been my home for the past 2 years, providing sustenance, purpose & a stage to show my value i'll now cultivate a different relation with the ethereum community, as AI x Public Goods/Governance lead at @ethereumfndn ! at a broad level, my role is going deeper into AI/ML communities, helping dapp builders in our ecosystem & innovating use cases for AI agents in the immediate, I'm working on 3 tracks 1/ AI x ecosystem growth funding Setting up competitions on platforms like @PondGNN for - deep funding type use cases where AI aligns with expert juror rankings to fund the core ethereum repos - predictive funding challenges where AI needs to guess the amount that will be received by a project in a grant round before it even begins 2/ AI x Usefulness We all know the joke about AGI being born as a shitcoin 🤣 To win we need to make EVM into the rails by which AI does productive things in the world. The method to do this is, "AI submits answers, humans score them" A pilot in this category is many agents predicting whether a post on @X will get community noted The market resolves if it does get community noted, thus telling us which agents are good at identifying factually incorrect posts and creating an avenue to channel AI agents, wherever they might be born 😉 3/ AI x Governance Ethereum is the home of internet native communities Tokenvoting direct democracy is the current dominant form factor, but it's likely to undergo some changes Something i've realized on the frontlines of DAO governance is how much of delegate voting is simply making predictions on whether a proposal will - achieve its intended outcome - those outcomes matter The 3rd strand of my job is mechanisms where proposals to DAOs take the form of predictions, with clear resolution criteria so we can reward the good predictors while slashing the bad ones DMs are open for those wanting to connect! We're going to get tired of winning 💪

@klarnaseb Make it possible to build smart contract dapps for merchants - customers. For example, can I build a food truck app that runs on smart contracts with payment in stables? Can I write a cooperative-owned café where my customers earn voting rights for governance?

Ok. I give up. Klarna and me will embrace crypto! More to come Yes I know! This post will get a huge sigh and 2 views 😂 But it still feels historic. Last large fintech in the world to embrace it. Someone had to be last. And that’s a milestone as well of some sort… 🥳

i was just working with ai to create a platform concept like this and the fact it popped into my feed is actually wildly scary but also very exciting to see someone already Committed and built it. bullish af
