Flip the roles—if an Iranian warship disabled a U.S.-linked commercial vessel and rappelled onto it, the reaction would be outrage and talk of aggression. That double standard is what makes incidents like this controversial: the same act gets labeled “security enforcement” or “provocation” depending on who’s doing it.
