Your birth certificate is not changed when you marry in fact, it’s it even required. Nor should it be. This is a bill to make it more difficult for women, and other Americans to vote.

To register. If you’re already registered, there’s not an issue. When you get married and choose to take your husband’s last name, you have to go through the process of changing your name on all your documents, including your Social Security if you intend to use that as a legal name. This is an odd issue for responsible adults
