The Chicago Police Department led a swift and decisive investigation, and has identified the person suspected of being responsible for Sheridan's death. I remain committed to necessary investments in our public safety infrastructure, such as revamping and modernizing our Detectives Bureau, so that every Chicagoan can feel peace of mind and security in their own community.
