when I graduated I owed £44,530. now I owe £56,329, that’s +£12,000 interested added in 7 years lol
only another 23 years of making the minimum repayments lol, it’s not even worth paying off more given the cost of living crisis and the interest being impossible to keep up with

@Grim60696847085 @Ryanjohnhruw @ThinkLicence I was 17 when I applied and agreed to a student loan. Like many others. A few years after signing the loan, Plan 2 terms changed after many of us signed up, including freezes to the repayment threshold that meant paying more for longer.

@Kgov81 @CarlLaverick Completely agree. And actually we were still 17 when we applied for university. There are no other situations where a child would be able to take out a loan with an indefinite end date and uncertain terms

@CarlLaverick 100%. I was on 48k orginally I pay 220 a month and somehow i'm 58k and ive been paying nearly 8 yrs at this point
