NEW: Off-duty NYPD officer passes after a drunk driver slammed into a nail salon in Long Island. 64-year-old Steven Schwally was arrested and charged with DWI after he slammed his car into the salon. A total of 10 people were injured in the crash and four others were k*lled. The victims included the salon's owner, Jiancai Chen, 37, workers Meizi Zhang, 50, and Yan Xu, 41, and off-duty NYPD officer Emilia Rennhack, 30. The 2020 Chevy Traverse traveled through the entire building before coming to a stop at the back of the salon. According to prosecutors, Schwally claimed he had 18 beers the night before but said he stopped drinking at 3 am. His bail was set at $1 million.

NEW: Ex-cop Elias Huizar is on the run after killing his girlfriend, ex-wife and kidnapping a 1 year old on the day he was due in court for impregnating a 15 year old & r*ping her friend. Huizar shot & killed his ex-wife at William Wiley Elementary in Washington. When police were searching for him, they found his girlfriend dead in his home. Now police believe he may try to flee to Mexico. Huizar was previously arrested on February 3 after his 17-year-old girlfriend, who he allegedly got pregnant when she was 15, says he attacked her 16-year-old friend at their home. He was charged with second-degree r*pe, furnishing alcohol for minors and third-degree r*pe.
