I have been a GP for 12 years. This is literally my job. This is what I trained 11 years for (6 years medical school + 2 yrs foundation + 3 years specialty training) for it to be deemed safe to do this role. Can anyone explain what an ACP does that is different to a GP?

@SKinnock Did you actually discuss this with disabled or chronically ill people at all at any point whilst designing/ thinking about this initiative? Perhaps charities that support this group? Doubtful. Nothing for us without This is a phenomenally bad idea.

Every time you hear them talking on TV about 'the disabled', I try to remember that at some point in our lives, we all become disabled, even if it's for only that one second before we die. Disabled is us.
