BREAKING: A newly obtained recording from Dec. 7, 2020 exposes Trump pressuring Georgia House Speaker David Ralston to call a special legislative session to OVERTURN the election he lost. Trump even coached him on the cover story, telling Ralston to claim it’s “for transparency” and “to uncover fraud.” Then the most damning line: “Who’s gonna stop you for that?” Ralston’s reply says it all: “A federal judge, possibly.” This was a sitting president actively probing how to illegally nullify an election, and joking about whether the courts could stop him. Anyone still pretending Jan. 6 was a spontaneous protest is lying to themselves.

They were girls who went to school to learn, with hopes and dreams for their future. Today, their lives were brutally cut short. I am heartbroken and appalled by the U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran, including reports that a girls’ school in southern Iran was hit, resulting in the injury and death of many girls. The killing of civilians, especially children, is unconscionable, and I condemn it unequivocally. My heart is with the children, families and communities affected by escalation across the region. I stand firmly against violence and the targeting of schools and civilians. I call for the escalation of violence across the region to end. Justice and accountability must follow. All states and parties must uphold their obligations under international law to protect civilians and safeguard schools. Every child deserves to live and learn in peace.

Yukon: Ivvavik National Park was established in 1984 and contains the oldest river in Canada, the Firth River. It was the first national park created as a result of an Indigenous land claim agreement 🧵 14/15

Northwest Territories: While Banff National Park was established in the Northwest Territories in 1885, the first park created within the current boundaries of the territory was Wood Buffalo in 1922. The park is the largest in Canada and sits on the Alberta-NWT border. 🧵 13/15

Nunavut: Quttinirpaaq was established in 1988 when the area was still part of the Northwest Territories. The first national parks in Nunavut after its creation in 1999 were Auyuittuq and Sirmilik in 2001. 🧵 12/15

Newfoundland and Labrador: Terra Nova National Park was established in 1957 and is the easternmost national park in Canada. It includes several coves, inlets and sea arches. There is also the habitat for the Newfoundland pine marten in the park. 🧵 11/15

Prince Edward Island: Prince Edward Island National Park was established in 1937 and protects the sensitive sand beaches and dunes that serve as a nesting habitat for the piping plover. The park also includes Green Gables. 🧵 10/15
