there are many reasons this scene (and movie) is one of the greatest of all time, but Sam Neill’s incredible performance completely sells us on that feeling of awe, disbelief, overwhelming joy, and validation. What an incredible actor. He will be missed ❤️

I've never understood this pov, but maybe its due to the timeline. I can see how a non-linear story might make it harder to , but not totally unable to connect with the characters. Tom Hardy does so much with just his eyes and voice alone.

🎬 Dunkirk (2017) Unlike most Nolan movies, I've always found it a struggle to connect with the characters in Dunkirk. Still, it's a technical marvel among the great military films. Dunkirk looks and sounds AMAZING.

Went in for a doctor's appointment a few days ago for a skin cancer screening (everything's fine btw).
Doctor's Assistant: Do you have insurance?
Me: Nope
DA: Ok we'll knock down the price for you (to less than...ONE THIRD!)
The whole procedure cost much less than even one month's payment on health insurance coverage.
Why would anyone pay for insurance that costs thousands per year AND a deductibles in the thousands, when they can just pay cash and get huge discounts ultimately being WAY cheaper than insurance?
