@Nomaculture @semitic_jew This is CORRECT! After my first experience, I buy and pack items which I just now throw away (leave behind) at all hotels, and temporary rental properties.

@CarlyDeeMoon @semitic_jew But why would you want to share a washcloth with people? This never bothers me because I use my own shower gloves and washcloth that I pack from home to get clean l, and then dry up with their bath towel. Washcloths go in sensitive areas, I wouldn’t want to rub that on me😩

It’s really best to research countries before visiting, just to be sure of cultural norms, including speech acceptance and patterns, acceptable clothing and also hierarchy within the culture. If you’re Black American, definitely look into how Black Americans are treated as visitors in that country. (And this tip applies to any nationality and culture). In any case, be sure to bring ALL of your hygiene products that you’re used to using, if you’re Black American, expecting certain product availability. I mean everything in your daily routine. East Asian countries don’t even sell deodorant in stores (because they don’t use it due to a genetic mutation…you can research it yourself). As a side note, my first abroad trips were to London and Mumbai. Both were around the same timeframe, 5 star luxury hotels and everything. EXCELLENT service from all staff members in India. (Mediocre service from staff members in London.) But both hotels didn’t have washcloths 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
