The Grade 2s have been learning about the water cycle. This week, we made our own representations of the cycle: evaporation (H2O moves into the air), condensation (clouds form), precipitation (rain/snow), and collection (H2O collects on land). Repeat for 3.8 billion years.

I’m so proud of my Grade 1s & 2s! Look what happened today when I asked them to show me all the ways they know to make 10 (we have been working on this for during our 15 min a day Fact Fluency time the last two weeks).

Have a great first day tomorrow @LimestoneDSB! To all teachers and school support staff, take care this time of year (and always). Our children need your gifts.

I heard once that how your parents spoke to you is now your inner voice. What an important concept to remember. Love in = love out.

The cheapest and easiest to set up science activity: hose in the street. My kids have been out for 1-2 hrs per day with this one. They wash the car, run through it, limbo under it, float toys to the storm drain, you name it! They find new ways to play every time they turn it on.
