For anyone else cutting back or cutting out drinking completely but you still really like beer, I picked up some Sober Carpenter from the grocery store the other day. It was actually really good! Montreal based microbrewery. If anyone has other favourite near-beers, lemme know?

@dbchhbr @andersem Because this is now an NA beer thread, my other top picks from a year of experimentation: • Sam Adams "Just the Haze" • Heineken 0.0 (if you like Heineken; I do) • Brooklyn Brewery "Special Effects" Sober Carpenter makes good ones, too, in pint cans.

I work 75% time because my kid is home from school and I'm going to have a beer while we play Heroes of Might & Magic II and eat popcorn basically my politics is that all humans should get the option to do this

@DaneToGo Gotcha! Try Partake (Toronto non-alc brewery with lots of choices), or Sober Carpenter if you can find it. Both have good options for non-alcs that don't necessarily suck 😊

@indyfromspace By pure happenstance, I bought a non-alcoholic beer for shits and giggles, just because of the fuss. Mind blown: I kid you not, the Sober Carpenter brand in Québec is now my go-to.

Have been trying out some non-alcholic beers recently, and this IPA by Sober Carpenter is so good. Legitimately can't tell that it's non-alcoholic. Bonus: actually sitting on a patio in April in NL 🥰
