“Do you think I need to take a coat?” Now there’s a question. Well, I can direct you to stand outside to check the current temperature. I can open the weather app for you, or ask Alexa to present you with a meteorological report. I can suggest to you that you might need a coat later if it gets colder. I can even tell you whether I’ll be taking a coat, though that will be based on my own body temperature and what climates I’m willing to tolerate with or without a coat, so I’m not sure how useful that info will be. I can tell you that you might as well take one or that you can always leave one in the car. I can do all of these things but I know it won’t have any influence on whether or not you decide to take a coat, so I’ll just say… “Don’t know, up to you really”
