Japanese born & bred in London. Used to consider myself a leftist but the world has shifted so far to the left, it’s left me stuck on the right.

@Capito_Nihongo He didn’t go through the correct process, I believe? And “apparently” his kid(s) only speak Japanese. Well, sorry, whose fault is that? Why didn’t he ensure his kids are bilingual? So no, this is not our government or people’s issue. Rules are rules, no exceptions.

@estherckrakue Only labour thinks he’s good. Maybe he is the best they’ve got. Who else? Miliband? Rayner?

@hotahotasa45082 Unfortunately, I agree it has to be one rule without exceptions. Everyone has an “if” and a “but”. Where will it end? Impossible to tailor.

Mr. Kumar, who has lived in Japan for 30 years and run an Indian curry restaurant for 18 years, had his visa renewal denied due to stricter requirements.
Mr. Kumar: "I have followed Japan's rules for 30 years. It's terrible to order me to return home because of a change in requirements."
If we accept his sympathy even once, we will have to accept everything. He completely fails to understand this.
He should be grateful to Japan and work hard for his family in his home country.

@andrewpakes_ I love it when Labour MPs spew this deluded nonsense. The more you do that, the better. Because it will really show the public how utterly deluded you are and will ensure Labour will never be voted in ever again. So yeah, keep these deluded posts coming…

@japan_nobunaga With strong and strict rules, assimilation and co-existence can happen. The immigrants dare not step out of line. Give these people and inch, they take a hundred miles. If only our Japanese government was as strict and strong.
English

@AngelaRayner Well, that’s no suspicious, is it? Tax dodger. “One rule for you, one rule for the rest of us”. “Labour scum”.

I welcome HMRC’s conclusion, which has cleared me of any wrongdoing.
I have been exonerated by HMRC of the accusation that I deliberately sought to avoid tax.
When purchasing a home of my own with a mortgage, I did not own any other property and had no personal financial interest in the court-instructed trust set up to manage my son’s financial award. I was advised by experts that I should pay stamp duty at the standard rate.
I set out to pay the correct amount of tax. I took reasonable care and acted in good faith, based on the expert advice I received, and HMRC has accepted this.
I have always sought to act with integrity, and I believe politicians should be held to high standards - that is why I resigned from government and cooperated fully with HMRC.
I wanted to ensure that I paid every penny that I owed, and have done so. I am relieved that my family can now move on - and that I can get on with my job.

To Muslims moving to Japan:
Japan is not an Islamic country.
🐷Pork is normal.
🍺Alcohol is normal.
🔥Cremation is normal.
⛩️Shrines, temples, Buddhist statues, and Shinto traditions are everywhere.
Japan has a deeply polytheistic culture, often described as having “eight million gods.”
Men and women work together.
Marriage is monogamous.
LGBT acceptance is growing.
In other words, many normal parts of Japanese life may be considered haram under Islamic rules.
But Japan is not the one that needs to change.
You are free to practice your religion.
But Japan is also free to remain Japan.
When you move to another country, you respect its culture.
You do not demand that country become yours.

Japan built the world’s most peaceful and developed nation through hard work and discipline.
Now, the same Japan is rapidly changing under growing Islamic influence.
The Muslim population is increasing quickly through immigration, trainee worker programs, and conversions. Streets outside mosques are being used for public prayers, demonstrations are taking place, and more Islamic centers are being built.
Japanese locals are now openly protesting against it.
English

@Write4Republic We don’t want to. But the government isn’t doing enough. Importing people from Muslim countries, allowing mosques to be set up, etc.
It’s an effing joke that we are not learning from Europe.
English

@tanpukunokami Our government needs to be stronger with less free rules. Like Singapore. Multicultural, has freedom to a vast extent, but you do not fuck with rules.
English

To Muslims living in Japan:
I respect your freedom of religion.
However, I feel uncomfortable when a group suddenly starts praying in a park or public space without considering the people around them.
This is a place where children play.
If children suddenly see a group of adults bowing down on the ground, they may be surprised or even scared because they do not understand what is happening.
Japan has its own public manners and social rules.
Practicing your faith and being considerate of the people around you should be able to coexist.
I am not saying you should not pray.
I am simply asking you to choose an appropriate place and be mindful of others.

English

@NHKWORLD_News Well, population is shrinking so we need ways to adapt rather than importing low-skill workers. Less chains, short operating hours, etc. Dealing with slight inconveniences is better than having the culture chipped away bit by bit by jmporting the 3rd world.
