This is the oldest surviving icon of Christ, the oldest painted portrait of the face of Jesus that has come down to us.
It was made around 1500 years ago, and if you cover one half of the face, then the other, you are looking at two different men...
It's called Christ Pantocrator, a Greek title meaning "Ruler of All," and it was painted in the sixth century, around the year 550, most likely in a workshop in Constantinople, the capital of the Byzantine Empire.
It was almost certainly sent as an imperial gift to a remote new monastery being built in the Egyptian desert. It has hung there, in the Monastery of Saint Catherine at the foot of Mount Sinai, ever since.
For roughly 1,500 years, it has never left.
That it survived at all is remarkable. In the eighth and ninth centuries, the Byzantine Empire went through a violent period called Iconoclasm, in which religious images were condemned as idolatry and destroyed by the thousands. Almost every icon of this age in the empire was burned. But Saint Catherine's lay far out in the desert, beyond the reach of the emperors and their decrees, so this one was spared. It is one of the very few images of its kind on earth to come down to us intact.
But the truly haunting thing is the face. Look at it, and the two sides do not match. On the side where Christ holds the Gospel, his features are harder, sterner, the brow raised, the eye larger and more severe, the face of a judge who sees everything. On the side where he raises his hand in blessing, the expression softens, calm and merciful, the face of a savior. One half is divine authority. The other is human compassion.
Most scholars believe this was entirely deliberate. The icon was painted not long after the Church had formally defined that Christ was at once fully God and fully man, two natures joined in one person. And so the artist, it is thought, built that doctrine directly into the face, splitting it in two so that the same man could be, in a single gaze, both merciful and just, both human and divine...
I started my newsletter because our past is extraordinary, and fewer and fewer people are showing us how to truly see it. Every week I try to. If that is something you'd like to be part of, you can join through the link in my bio, and if you'd like to support my work, a paid subscription is what makes it possible.
Thanks for reading.

Fahrenheit is superior to Celsius and I’m tired of pretending this is a debate.
Fahrenheit feels like temperature was designed by an human being who walks outside, feels the air, and says, “Yeah, that makes sense.”
Zero is freezing. 100 is brutally hot.
70 is comfortable. 80 is warm.
The numbers feel like what they are describing.
Celsius feels like it was designed by a committee of people who hate joy and want every conversation about the weather to sound like a chemistry lab.
“It’s 22 degrees outside.”
What does that even mean to a normal person? Am I wearing shorts? Am I grabbing a jacket?
Nobody knows. You need a conversion chart and a government employee standing next to you explaining the vibes.
Fahrenheit gives you range. That’s the point. It gives you more numbers for the temperatures human beings actually live in. You can feel the difference between 68, 72, 76, and 80. Those numbers matter. Fahrenheit lets you describe the world with more precision without having to break into decimals like a lunatic.
And here’s the other thing...
Celsius is connected to the metric cult energy that came out of the French Revolution. And the French Revolution was evil. Both of the Revolution were to rip out tradition, faith, monarchy, hierarchy, the Church, the calendar, the clock, and anything that reminded man he was not God.
CELSIUS IS INHERENTLY EVIL
So yes, Celsius may be useful if you’re boiling water in a lab. Congratulations. But Fahrenheit is for living LIFE because Fahrenheit is for walking outside and instantly knowing what kind of day you’re about to have.
100 means hot. 70 means beautiful. Zero means don’t go outside unless you have a death wish.
That’s a real system.

I am absolutely aghast.
The Bible museum in DC has the Dead Sea scrolls on loan from the state of Israel.
As part of this loan agreement, Israel required that the museum remove the term “BC,” as in “Before Christ,” to refer to the years in the exhibit. They are mandated to use CE because they find the name of Christ so offensive.
“Judeo-Christian” values are a myth. There is no such thing. Israel only uses the term to manipulate Christian America into doing what they want.

𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻'𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗽𝗶𝘁
Thomas Lawrence was the leading portrait painter in the world in the late 1700s, he painted portraits of royalty and the aristocracy exclusively
In 1796 he painted a portrait of Lucifer called "Satan Summoning his Legions" It's so powerful that the Rothschilds and even Marina Abramović get their pictures taken in front of it in unholy devotion
Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, a 33° French Freemason, created a statue in 1848 called "Satan in Chains." It depicts a sorrowful Lucifer bound in chains, wearing a 7-pointed crown, holding an unlit torch, with the sinful apple of Eden at his feet, the face of his Satan looks eerily similar to Lawrence’s portrait
𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁?
Yet Bartholdi then created the Statue of Liberty! Not only does it have the exact same face, but it now shows Lucifer triumphant: the chains on his feet are broken, his 7-pointed crown radiates like rays of the sun, his extinguished torch is now blazing, and he's in a dress, pure mockery of God's laws
But what about the apple, some ask?
No longer a small fruit of sin at his feet, his massive idol now stands in an entire city of sin: the Big Apple
Not only does Satan carry a plaque marking his release date, July 4th, 1776, but the Statue has always been connected to fireworks, even the 1986 centennial featured the largest fireworks display in history right next to the Statue of Satan’s Liberty
Shows like Hazbin Hotel tie it all together by depicting Lucifer with fireworks, think about it: if you wanted to taunt Heaven and announce to God and the angels that mankind is celebrating your release, what better way than having mortals launching loud and bright bombs toward their residency?
𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗱𝗼 𝘄𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻’𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝟭𝟳𝟳𝟲?
Not only was it the founding of the Illuminati and Chabad Lubavitch, the two scourges Satan has used to whip the world into obedience, but it kicked off the destruction of all Christian monarchies, starting with America and then the bloody, overtly Satanic French Revolution
Read the private letters of the Founding Fathers and you'll see they hated Christianity, they were Freemasons, that declared America was not a Christian nation in 1796, with many tied to the aptly named Hellfire Club

When Real Christians quote scripture to a clown like this whom never expected anyone to answer correctly because he thinks he’s smarter than everyone else.

@KushnerAvi @DeepPsycho_HQ They’re not false, just not the same.
Some names are synonymous like Apollo is Lucifer and so on.
Again my point, it doesnt matter but you dont want to get it. You want max engagement for the sake of it.

That’s just restating Christian exclusivism from the Gospel of John – written by an anonymous author in Koine Greek decades after Jesus died, not in Aramaic or Hebrew spoken by Jesus and his followers.
It doesn’t answer the actual question.
Different religions make irreconcilable contradictions:
One says the only way to God is through Jesus.
Another says through submission to Allah and Muhammad.
Another through Krishna or enlightenment.
They can’t all be true!
Quoting scripture you already accept is circular – it assumes what it needs to prove.
Out of the thousands of gods humans have worshipped, why is the Christian one real while Zeus, Shiva, Odin, Amun-Ra, and the rest are false? What evidence (not just testimony or Bible verses) supports that specific claim?

A psychiatrist at John Hopkins studied people who claimed to speak with God.
what he found in their brain scans left even seasoned scientists in quite disbelief:
> His name was Dr. Andrew Newberg.
A scientist. Not religious.
He had one question what happens inside the brain during prayer?
He expected nothing unusual.
Just neurons firing. Thoughts forming.
Nothing more.
He was wrong.
During deep prayer, the brain did something unexpected.
The part responsible for self-awareness went quiet.
Like a switch turned off.
> And when that happens the boundary between you and everything else disappears.
You no longer feel separate.
Not from people.
Not from the world.
Not from something greater.
He called it “absolute unitary being.”
Not just a feeling a measurable state in the brain.
But that wasn’t the most shocking part.
The brains of people who prayed regularly
looked physically different.
Stronger connections.
Lower stress.
Healthier patterns.
Even the brain’s fear center the amygdala became less active.
Ancient traditions always knew this.
Here’s the simple truth:
When you pray, your brain stops treating you as alone.
It starts treating you as connected.
Supported. Part of something vast.
He spent 30 years trying to prove it was all in the mind.
Instead, he found it was changing the mind all along.
Maybe it was never empty after all.

@KushnerAvi @DeepPsycho_HQ John 1:18
No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is Himself God and is at the Father’s side, has made Him known.
John 14:6
Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
His name is secondary to Jesus☦️
