By June 2025 I had to close my shop for good. Sold CNC machines, forklift, pallet racks, you name it. Walked away with a $94K balance on an SBA loan. Not bad. Gave the shrink wrap business to my last and best employee who had stuck with me for years. I had a new business idea I’d been working on in the camper since Christmas ’24. Bought my first 3D printer and learned how to use it. Spent months developing prototypes. Launched an online store and paid social ads in May 2025…….No sales. Reworked the products. End of july came, still no sales. August 15, tweaked the ads. August 15-Dec 31: $65K in sales January I invented and filed a patent on a whole new product line, launched it on the website. August 15 to today: $150.4K in sales. I've work 14 hour days almost every day since Christmas in my garage. I have 8 printers now running 24hr/s day. Young men you can do things, but holy shit is it hard.
