Our home is very close to the Encino evacuations in the Palisades Fire and I’ve been a nonstop ball of anxiety all week. But so far we are safe! The car is packed and ready to roll out if the call comes. My heart breaks for everyone who has been affected and it’s not over yet.

The Magic Castle was under threat, but appears it will be safe thanks to the heroic efforts by some Magic Castle heroes and the LAFD. It was touch and go for awhile, but we survived (another) fire! The LAFD is welcome to use our parking lot for staging the fight all night.
