Thanks for your feedback. Just for clarification, I was saying what she was wearing has been a focus since the investigation started etc... I also stated found a woman's pajamas top... I also asked the question do you think this will result in some answers or just another false trial etc... You can only raise the rent 3% every 12 months by law in Los Angeles if he stays. If he leaves with the payout then that’s on him to find a place that’s reasonable. But the new owners have to wait until he can find a place.

@sky_roney @WallStreetApes Is Belmont Shores in LA County, though? Also, $15,000 isn't much to pay at all, so no tears for him. Pasadena isn't in LA County, and doesn't have very good rent laws, though they've gotten better.

Well he should check out the renters rights laws in Los Angeles county. They have to pay him a significant amount of money to move into a new place or the new owners have to let him stay. I just went through this with my father in Law. He moved back to Pasadena. He owns a three unit duplex. He had to pay the lady in the front house 15k to move out and into a new place, so that he could move in. He gave her a 120 days notice (4 months).
