Health officials in the Gaza Strip said Israeli forces bombarded Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, one of the last functioning hospitals in the enclave’s north, describing the attack as “unprecedented.”

Israel has ‘the right to defend itself’
with…
the support of the US, UK, & the West
by using…
apparently the most advanced technological precision weapons ever produced (by America/Germany/UK etc)
To…
- kill innocent children
- kill civilians on a mass scale
- level cities
- use collective punishment
- block humanitarian aid and food supplies
- break international law, humanitarian law, laws governing war
- target UN peacekeepers
This is a stain on humanity and the world that we be looked back with horror and series for years to come in our history books
I’ve been to Isreal and to the West Bank in Palestine (what’s left of it).
I’ve seen how they are called and treated as ‘animals’
It is apartheid, the most straight forward purest and simplest case
Anyone who is explaining otherwise is asking you not to believe the evidence of your eyes and ears
For all the ‘Israel has a right to defend itself’ people…when is it enough? After how many thousands of deaths is it too much?
The sooner our ‘leaders’ realise Israel and Netanyahu are not our ‘allies’ the better.

Another night of horror in the #Gaza Strip. A strike hit a hospital courtyard, burning the tents where people were sleeping. Just before this, an @UNRWA school sheltering families was hit in Nuseirat. That same school was going to be used as a #polio vaccination site today.

This is absolute insanity of the highest order. Those in charge of the #Olympic2024 should be sacked immediately.
This poor woman trained and dreamt her whole life of making the Olympics and was then made fight a man
And don’t bother trying to tell me it’s her fault for not refusing to fight. It’s the fault of the people ‘ruling’ the world right now that are trying to normalise men beating the hell out of women in sport for their own sick pleasure
Does a woman have to die for this insanity to stop. Absolute bloody madness and STILL too many people stay quiet about it
SPEAK UP FFS!

🚨Beating women is now a spectator sport We have never been more aware as a society of male violence against women Why are the #Olympics allowing this male to enter the boxing ring with a woman? #Paris2024 @fairplaywomen

@RTEgaa @McCoyNiall One of our National sports is 60x30 handball. What a fantastic game but unfortunately it's almost dead!!

A great win against Scoil Mhuire on Tuesday means we are through to the Semi Finals next week against St Senan's. A fantastic bunch of hurlers in the making😀

@CiDeely If they want All Ireland finals in September, no problem. Just give the clubs June. Going back to April for club championship would be a disaster IMO.
The one thing that urgently needs to happen @OfficialWexGAA is to align the club leagues with championship. Start april/may

I’m not a supporter of the split-season
There, I’ve said it! 😳🔪
I always liked 2 Club C’ship matches in April (both as a player & coach of both club & county teams)
- Gives county players a break from Inter-county game
- Gives club players something tangible to play for earlier in the season
- Inter county game is currently too condensed
- Too many injuries occurring (never mind demands on players’ work/college/family obligations!)
- I don’t currently see the benefit to the club season, county finals still being played in Oct!
I don’t work in media, or with a county team, or a club team. (Only play @LondainMasters - best GAA competition there is!😉)
Trying to be impartial- I’m just struggling to see the overall benefit in the split season currently (no system is perfect I know)
I don’t agree with Jarlath Burns that All Ireland Finals should return to Sept
What I would do re county season:
- No training allowed pre-Christmas
- Pre season training Jan
- Provincials Feb/Mar
- Club only Apr
- Return to county May
- Champions League-based League & Tiered Championship May/June/July/August
This springtime Championship is doing nothing to promote our games
Other sports will fill the void
Many club championship games currently aren’t starting until well into summer anyway (similar to old structure)

Highlights of Wexford v Carlow in the Leinster Senior Football Championship.
Big win for Wexford and we now move on to a quarter-final with Louth, which is fixed for Portlaoise on Sunday at 4pm.

Beautiful human beings were murdered today - RIP
- They were outraged about Gaza Genocide and wanted to do something about it.
- They quit everything to help Palestinians
- They wanted somehow to alleviate the pain of Palestinians, they wanted a better World, for all of us.
- They were killed by the same bombs that their governments are supplying to the Zionist regime.
These are the foreign aid workers belonging to the World Central Kitchen [ WCK ] who were killed after the Israeli forces carried out an airstrike on their car in central Gaza Strip.
The nationalities of the employees are Polish, Australian, Irish, and British, they joined the +30'000 souls slaughtered by the Zionists.
Rest In Peace
