The techniques in molecular biology seem to get exponentially more sophisticated each year. Yet, biochemists are still stuck with deciphering western blots 😩 Can someone please make protein quantification easy, accessible and actually quantitative! (representative ugly WB shown)

Today was a good day. First, I repelled off the side of a building. Then, my grant’s summary statement came out with some great feedback. And then, I found out my paper was officially accepted! Not all PhD days are awesome, but today was a great day! #phdlife
