This is going to sound like “hate” and I’ll get killed for it, but am I the only one confused on how Schlittlers fastball doesn’t get hit more?
On camera it just looks so flat, totally get it’s still 98 & he’s got the 2 other FB variations but maybe I’m just used to watching Helsley & Stanek’s 100MPH fastballs get hit into the second deck.

Max Fried is heading to the injured list, but the news is relatively positive all things considered: An MRI revealed a bone bruise in his left elbow, per the team. Dr. Neal ElAttrache will look over the imaging, but if there is no ligament damage, the Yankees avoid worst case.
