@jane_a_2023@ForestMommy@luinalaska Better than her? Only in that I recognize when experts know more than I do about infectious viral diseases and don’t pretend I know more than they do.
This makes absolutely no sense. I worked out in New Mexico as a nurse and had a hantavirus patient. I need you to understand this makes no sense. I’m not saying it’s not true. I’m saying something ain’t right.
@realitywonk@prionthot@luinalaska You are the one making up some conspiracy when this variant has been around before now. You’ve painted yourself into a corner and are now lashing out because you can’t defend your stupid conspiracy.
Makes for fun reading though. 👍🏼
This is a documented variant in the literature forever and nothing new. Still won’t spread without close contact but because of the long incubation period where it can spread, it is still concerning. It has spread before at a birthday party and a funeral. With multiple deaths. We just haven’t heard about it because it normally doesn’t impact westerners. The senior couple brought it onto the ship.
@ForestMommy@luinalaska I’m not defensive about it. It appears it may be from Argentina and rodents can pass person to person they already pretty much have it contained. It will be fine. Don’t really want to visit Argentina anymore. Don’t know where you come up with defensive. Nice is better.
@luinalaska They are training people to be obsessed with "variants" again. Id assume the same infected rodent is on there spreading it as the most logical thing to think.
@luinalaska It’s from mice feces. I’ve never heard otherwise. All of us with tack rooms are cautious about it.
The ship must be full of mice and they don’t want you to know.
