@Cambs_Traffic sorry but King's Parade new barrier forces bikes the wrong side of the road at a T junction, with no road markings and no signs. Could you please leave it always open until safety is sorted?

@camcitco Sorry but I cycle through there every day and I have not seen anyone monitoring...otherwise I would have demonstrated the problem. You know vans park in front of the barrier too?

@CateDucati Thank you for your observations.This is a temporary arrangement that we’re monitoring to see if there’s need for further adaption.The environment is historic. We’ve tried to keep the changes as low-key as possible. Similar arrangements seems to have worked well at other locations

@camcitco Have not heard or seen anything, so I will try to make the point again...we can't wait for a serious accident to fix it, can we?

@camcitco sorry but could you please deal with essential safety around the barrier at King's. Cyclists going south are forced to the wrong side of the road at a T junction with no markings or signs to regulate traffic. BAD design and dangerous management. Please rectify!

@gabyhinsliff thank you for article today...another catch is parents processing settled status application for their children. Now only parents can easily produce the electronic confirmation of status, but what happens when the child needs direct access?
