The devastating floods are taking a terrible toll, especially on children. We urge everyone to unite - government and aid groups to ensure every life is protected. But how can YOU help a child during the floods? 📍Stay informed: Follow trusted news sources for updates and evacuation orders. 📍If safe to do so: Help children move to higher ground and away from floodwater. 📍Keep them calm and safe: Children are scared during emergencies. Comfort them and explain what's happening in a reassuring way. 📍Beware of contaminated water: Floodwater can be dirty and dangerous. Keep children away from it and wash their hands often with clean water.
