I have made a tutorial for chanting the entire Daily Office in the English plainchant tradition. Most online resources only tell you how to chant part of it, but this tells you how to chant the entire thing, even including the Scripture lessons. open.substack.com/pub/catfinity/…

@dominicptaranto It was probably one of the better ones I've seen. You can look through my answers. Some of them probably should've been primary (orange), but there was always another answer that was also pretty good. A few could've been green, but it just seemed a little too expansive.

@Liam_Holman99 @Jeffrey28627067 There literally isn't. Breaking the law is criminal. The only qualification necessary here is that penalties are only removed for women getting abortions, not doctors providing them. It is now legal for a woman to self-perform an abortion.

@dominicptaranto Wesley didn't ordain bishops, but he did more than just license lay readers. He ordained some priests, and he consecrated Thomas Coke as a superintendent, and he sent them to America. Coke then started calling himself a bishop, and he ordained other priests and bishops.

@catholicpat But supposing this is true, it doesn't mean that Mary had to be conceived sinless, only that she was subsequently given grace to be sinless at or prior to the Annunciation.

@HeathenKirk @LifeNewsHQ It's not “The Anglican Church.” It's the Church of England. Most Anglicans declared that the Archbishop of Canterbury was no longer primus inter pares over a decade ago, and many aren't even in communion with the CoE anymore.

@LifeNewsHQ She's on the right side of the issue, but the fact that the highest ranking person in the Anglican Church is a woman is very telling.

@MannanaPeeled @RefRetrieval I don't know who was the first to strictly divide reprobation into two parts or use those names, but going all the way back to Augustine you have the distinction between the permission of sin/final impenitence, and damnation.

@Catfinitygamer @RefRetrieval Ok I didn’t know that first part in a formal sense, do you know where that distinction comes from originally? If indeed the decree of preterition is prior to the decree of the fall, then that resolves my issue. Thank you!
