@eoin_murchu It’s we should be telling the apes running our country to get stuffed. The design wasn’t completed when tendered and had a shed load of changes since. Are you naive enough to think that a rival company ( had they won the job) would do the additional work for free??

NOT GOOD ENOUGH. The government says it can't ban BAM from future state contracts because of EU tendering laws. So BAM and similar rip-off merchants have no incentive to deliver properly. The govt should tell the EU to get stuffed and tell BAM it's barred.

@VirginMediaNews The government want you to believe that BAM are the issue. BAM have delivered projects all over Europe on time + within budget. The problem here was the idiotic decision to sign a binding contract for a project before the design was finalised. And who did that?? Fine Gael did

"What is wrong with this contractor?" asks Fine Gael TD as David Gunning, chief officer of the National Paediatric Hospital Development Board, details a litany of issues with the National Children's Hospital. Some issues include leaks, dust and problems with doors.  #VMNews

A Cavan pub is to seek planning permission to use a world-first technology that would allow the premises run on power from the river outside its front door. Fergus Murphy of Murph’s Gastro Pub in Butlers Bridge said he was hopeful they would be the answer to soaring electricity bills. irishtimes.com/environment/20…

This is the Deputy Prime Minister (Tánaiste) of Ireland, Simon Harris. Six years ago, while Minister for Health, he thought there had been 18 other Covid's before Covid 19. When later challenged about his ignorance he said "He was tired"

@FineGaelBrux @EndaKennyTD @EPP @FineGael Apart from Blueshirt spastics like yerselves, must people would regard the great FAMINE as our country’s lowest ebb. Owing bond holders < a famine.

Today is the 75th birthday of Enda Kenny. At a time when Ireland was at its lowest ebb, Enda brought renewal, hope & energy to build a better Ireland. He brought Fine Gael back to the heart of the EU, knowing its importance for Ireland. Happy Birthday @EndaKennyTD 🇮🇪🇪🇺

@MLorrM @SimonHarrisTD I would had thought our darkest days would have been during the famine when thousands and thousands starved to death and a good share of h the remaining had to emigrate

My opinion on ⁦@SimonHarrisTD⁩ misleading birthday greeting below. Enda Kenny did not lead Ireland THROUGH its darkest days; Instead, Kenny led the country INTO its darkest days and then he went to work for a private equity firm. Never let this be forgotten.

@urlofcork There are tectonic plates moving faster than the children’s hospital. What could go wrong signing a contract for a massive piece of infrastructure before the design is complete?? And all for just to give FG a boost The wasted funds would actually have paid for a 80km Motorway

It is unfortunate for the Journal that it is now being referred to as the "Urinal"; an unsavoury title that is even more degrading and embarrassing than that given to their friends, "The Irish Slimes". Perhaps if they apologise and publish a corrective and repentant article, they may have some semblance of a future. It would be a small start. Oh, and give up their now well exposed "fact checking". It is time. This clip is worthy of your attention.

Leo Varadkar is the epitome of all that is wrong with Irish politics. He rose to the top of Fine Gael by ingratiating himself with the Fine Gael grassroots in rural Ireland that he now disparages. He is embodying the arrogance and lack of care that this FF/FG government showed towards farmers, hauliers and small contractors during the fuel protests. He now decries the tax incentives given to farmers which he once championed as a benefit of EU membership. In reality the EU regulations are crippling rural Ireland and FF/FG are letting it happen. Varadkar is a shameless hypocrite, who has displayed exactly what his former colleagues think of you. #HowIrelandWorks

Leo Varadkhar is some fraud. He led a supposedly centre right party that traditionally was voted for in huge numbers by middle of the road farmers .Then he goes and says they are being subsidised by urban Ireland and that weve too much cattle so we need to import grain.Balderdash
