@zachweinberg Sanders is correct here, the economical problem with data centers is the burnout rate of computer parts, you'd have to replace all of the hardware every five to ten years, which is simply too expensive, the first light bulbs that saw widespread use lasted for decades.

@haste132 @JoeWilsonEQ1 it sucks cause I love the series and the books but it reminds me of how Embark promised that Arc Raiders wouldn't use AI specifically for writing too and to this day some of the codex entries read like spaghetti, with repetitive paragraphs and nonsense sentences.

I am begging people to understand that ideation is the last thing you want to outsource to the AI slop machine. GenAI does not produce original ideas; real, living artists do. Hire concept artists for your preproduction work.

The real sign of a wealthy economy is:
1) cheap energy
2) an abundance of high paying jobs, even for menial labor
3) high family formation
4) easy access universal healthcare

The obvious conclusion here would be China, but there's a lot of strangeness surrounding these mystery drones to the point that they're overlapping with some supposed UAP reports in capabilities.

This should be the biggest story in the country right now. Barksdale is the HQ for our B52 nuclear bombers, it's where Bush sheltered on 9/11, and the drones are reported as "far more sophisticated than anything seen in Ukraine ... and well beyond Iranian capabilities."
