@SamNick3573 You don't have to completely ignore mainstream PG rated animation just to seem adult. Rango is in fact a masterpiece, and so is WALL-E, and so is Wolfwalkers, and so is The Lion King, etc. "Mature" animation is great, but the real mature thing is balance.

@cosasdeanoche Genndy Tartakovsky made 3 seasons of TV with practically no talking, and Primal is a masterpiece. Visual storytelling is the primary aspect of the art form of film. And you might say that's different than just looking pretty, but no not really. Beauty, in all forms, is important.

@cosasdeanoche Of course storytelling is the most important part of a storytelling medium, but if you think that's synonymous with scripts then you should probably stick to books and audio dramas. Flow, Mad God, and Hundreds of Beavers are a few examples of incredible movies with zero dialogue.

good for you, but i disagree. the most important thing *for me* will always writing and the script, the storytelling itself, before visual or audio. no matter how amazing a show looks, if it has nothing to say, it's worth nothing, because i’m here for stories.

nah, the script isn't the most important thing in a series/film. Film and television are art forms that show through images; the script "dies" at the beginning of the editing process.

@pabsays @HoThinh1993 Both are slick violent action movies with a protagonist who can't talk, but that's pretty much it. Boy Kills World is a ultra gory action-comedy with fun cyberpunk worldbuilding. Silent Night is a more straightforward melancholy melodrama about grief driven self-destruction.
