It's classless and rude, and I wouldn't dine there whether I had children with me or not. My opinion was sought and there it is, as is yours.

@CatsyMac @dont_be_common @MbarkCherguia They're not pre-judging. They are saying keep your children in line for everyone's safety. That's not judgment, that's common sense and good policy. If you have a problem with it take your family somewhere else. I'd go there just to give them the business.

@nyaraVT Same sex attracted women want the right to congregate without the opposite sex. The fact they ever needed a court case to obtain this 'right' is fcking ridiculous and frankly homophobic.

The normalisation of the abuse, harassment and discrimination against transgender people doesn’t surprise me.. but it’s still so heartbreaking to see Imagine celebrating the oppression of women. Imagine celebrating ostracising women This is exclusively a win for the patriarchy

@MbarkCherguia Its actually rude. Some ppls kids know how to act and businesses shouldn't just assume. If the kids become a problem THEN pass put your notice to them. Dont insult your customers at the door.

@andoniAmu @MbarkCherguia All very true, and same with me- YET specifically calling out certain types of people as potential problem-causers and giving them a pre-warning to behave is not the type of place I'd go to whether I had kids with me or not.

We’ve taken our son everywhere since he was a baby, and he has always behaved. He was never allowed to wander around a restaurant, and if he cried, one of us would step outside with him. That’s just basic respect for everyone else who is paying to enjoy their lunch or dinner. It’s incredibly annoying and disrespectful to let children run around, shout, cry, and disturb other tables.

@MbarkCherguia My children have always been well behaved in a restaurant & I do think it's rude when a parent doesn't make sure their kids behave, however I wouldn't go to this restaurant or any other that specifically 'called out' a group of people as the 'type' to cause problems.

@WallStreetApes Public schools should not be treating anyone's delusions as reality, be they religious or ideological. Respect should be taught, bullying is not ok, but no students should have to comply with expressing faith based beliefs they do not share. That's what private school is for.

This Americans 9 year old son came back from school very confused because of a transgender kid There’s a trans boy who dresses like a girl and is allowed in the little girls room. He’s also on the girls basketball team “He was confused because there is a trans kid in his school, he didn't even know what that was. He's like, mom, there's a boy that dresses up like a girl and changed his name to a girl name. So now we have to call him the girl name and he is allowed to play on the girl's basketball team. And he's allowed to go to the bathroom in the girl's bathroom because he's a girl now” “Like, I don't under, I don't get it. I did not wanna have to have this conversation with my f*cking nine-year-old. Okay” “That is just like a recipe for disaster. But now girls have to go to the bathroom in a private area for women and girls with a boy. Now they have to compete on a team with a boy” The mental health damage this is doing on American kids can’t be overstated

I would love to say this is peak stupid, that CIF had reached their limit of self-humiliation, but I know better. @nickimoraa Americans love to brag about their mashed potatoes, but I have yet to ever have any that was nearly as good as simply mashing with some butter, milk and salt. Also, using a hand mixer to mash… way to make amazing shoe glue. Not bashing all US cuisine, just the mash 😅

My boyfriend's mom made mashed potatoes that tasted like CAKE and now his whole family is mad at me. We're at Sunday dinner, I take a bite, and immediately I'm like ??? why are these sweet? Not a little sweet, like genuinely dessert sweet. I kinda laugh and ask, 'wait are these sweet?' These were russet potatoes, btw, like someone dumped a whole bag of brown sugar in them. I'm 23 and not even from the US, so this was wild to me She says 'yeah that’s how i make them,' and I just say I’ve never had sweet mashed potatoes before. It gets SO awkward, dead quiet. I try to eat them, I really do, but it’s gravy on dessert and my brain just can’t process it. So I stop eating them. She notices and asks 'you don’t like them?' I say 'they’re just a bit sweet for me.' Then my boyfriend jumps in like 'they’re not even sweet' which LIKE they literally are?!

But what we really need is to go off social media and connect with people.

@AllieLeCroix @sappholives83 No, their hypocrisy was pointed out at the time of the great banning when it was clear rape fantasy/ any porn categories could advertise clearly the targets were female-only and they enforced it. Nothing has changed.

Man is sad because even other Redditors don’t want to see his moobs. Side note — It’s really gross that r/ratemyboobs and other porn subreddits are allowed to restrict content to female-only, but any sub women create for ourselves gets banned if we enforce that rule.
