Hey everyone, put this date in your calendars/diaries! Next Belfast-wide meeting will be held this Thursday 7th July at 7:00pm in the upstairs room of The Sunflower Bar (65 Union St, Belfast BT1 2JG).

Please attend if you can, it is a chance for our union to meet across all our Belfast branches and focus our efforts on city-wide actions and priorities.

The housing crisis is official government policy, it is not an unintended consequence!

We are coming up to 300 signatures online, with over 150 signatures gathered yesterday at our picket of Supermacs in Limerick - please keep the pressure on and keep signing and sharing!

Amazing turnout at our landlord research training. We're empowering our members and building skills in researching landlords and their business interests, all to aid member defence. Ask your committee/national training officer about organizing a training session for your branch.

We are dismayed, but not at all shocked, by the extreme rent profiteering of landlords in Belfast who pray on students to the tune of £1.8 billion a year. Students here live in some of the most unfit, overcrowded housing conditions on these islands and for this are exploited.

Our leaflets from the demonstration we shared with the people of Limerick yesterday. Please share widely to raise awareness of these unfair evictions, and the disgraceful situation of housing in Limerick!
