After exiting our top-10 for a few weeks, Virginia has rejoined that elite tier, jumping two spots to #9 after soundly defeating NC State last night, 90-61. After a 15-17 campaign in 2024-25 (finishing outside our top-100), the Hoos have come out of nowhere to lock up their first 25-win season since 2022-23 -- with three regular season games still remaining, no less. Virginia started the year 68th in our preseason baselines and have emerged as one of our most overperforming teams of 2025-26. They've won nine in a row and 14 of their last 15. UVA's stiffest test of the year awaits -- a road game vs. our #2 Duke this coming Saturday.
