My son is six. Our HS team was 29-0 and lost in the quarterfinals this past season. Tonight (6 months after), out of nowhere, he asks, “Do you miss your team? You know, the guys that lost? I miss them.”

@MrMaxPrice Something I never anticipated I would love when I got into coaching is the relationships your kids have with your players. Then in return the way your players act with your kids. It’s one of the best things.

Reacting the right way!! Going away, away, away, and then reacting in to make sure we are holding our line and not rotating off the ball with our front shoulder. In order to execute in specific situations, we have to practice them. #baseball #training #reaction #baseballtraining

Challenging our posture! A great way to really test our posture is by training on the low pitch with a short bat. This forces us to use the ground and feel a good tilt and hip hinge to make sure our path and direction stay on this pitch. Infielders, enhance your movements with “High Hip Posture” rather than “Butt Down - Low Hip Posture” that equals a stiff compromised mover, a loss of athleticism, adjustability, range, and a loss of freedom.

Staying On and In The Ground You can see him holding his posture over the plate well You can see the front foot fighting to stay down, it helps hold the hip in You can see the balance and held finish to exaggerate the feel and cue.

Body control, global movement, & coordination need to be developed before skill. Can you hinge, turn, & hold posture? If not, nothing else really matters. @hossjobhitting
