Just watched Savannah's sit-down with Hoda. Part 1 (because you might as well milk some ratings while you're trying to find the missing lady, 53 days later).
* She was dropping her kids off with Carson Daley when Annie notified her
* Brother immediately assumed kidnapping for ransom
* Savannah believes Nancy was targeted because of her
* They believe at least 2 of the ransom notes were real
* Back doors were left open, blood drops on the porch, phone/purse were still there, cameras were removed
* Angry at public speculation
* Grateful to the investigators (no mention of Nanos)

Remember, the closing of Rikers will mean a roughly 75% reduction in available jail beds. This is no accident. It was a way to lock-in "decarceration," courtesy of the de Blasio administration. Just wait until this hits in a year or two. Think NYC is bad now?

There is no way to ‘responsibly’ shrink the jail population any further. At this point we’re already letting so many criminals walk that the only ones left in custody are the absolute worst of the worst. Honestly, you already have to do something pretty heinous to be remanded in NYC. And that’s who Zohran will be releasing. Buckle up.
