Much as I enjoyed the final @BBCYoungMus, the new format does seem to discriminate against brass and wind players in that nobody starts horn age 3 etc. Please rectify before next time. You might get more state school representation this way too.

Last night’s @BBCYoungMus final @Bristol_Beacon was simply thrilling. Everything is under wraps until 20th October - so for now, let’s hear it for the brilliant @BBCNOW under @GernonBen, performing multiple concertos in one night 👏 👏

@BBCYoungMus poor show. Not a single brass player makes the cut. New format doesn’t take account of the fact that you can’t start a brass instrument aged 3 📯☹️🎺

Great to see @guidedogs fund raising @NMMethodists today. There are about 10 dogs here, a very fine selection of cakes and the floor is clear of all crumbs 🐶🤔😀
