No surprise that far-left leaning Toronto city council plans to use my tax dollars to install signs blaming Doug Ford for traffic when it is their poorly planned bike lanes and CafeTO that are largely to blame, along with construction. blogto.com/city/2024/11/t…

@JonFraserTF Here here! Elected officials are supposed to represent the majority of the population they serve, not pander to special interest groups. Torontonians need city councillors and a mayor who live in the same world they do. #onpoli

Nobody ever accused Toronto city councillors of being rocket surgeons™️ The vast majority of Torontonians are more than happy to see the bike lanes gone. Putting up signs is essentially giving Ford a boost for his reelection campaign. #onpoli globalnews.ca/news/10872540/…

@CHogarthPC Residents of Scarborough and Etobicoke are particularly disadvantaged by decisions made by the reality deniers running the City of Toronto. Thank goodness the province has stepped in to stop the madness of #BikeLanes

I'm committed to ensuring that the voice of #EtobicokeLakeshore is heard as our government strives for solutions that work for everyone. I recently asked a question in the Legislature about the important issue of ending gridlock and how it matters to our community. #BikeLanes

@fordnation I completely support the removal of bike lanes imposed on residents of Toronto by Toronto City Council, a group led by @oliviachow who do not live in the real world, and whose decisions do not reflect the vast majority of Ontario residents who do!

Ford’s clearly scrambling to deliver on promises he made to prospective corporate donors, & he’s playing politics with the lives of workers AND taxpayers’ money in the process. I think we’d all like to see this govt put workers, communities, & small businesses first.

The Ontario government says ready-to-drink beverages, such as coolers and seltzers, and large packs of beer will be coming to grocery stores across the province ahead of schedule. globalnews.ca/news/10624118/… #onpoli

@MayorOliviaChow With the ONLY cut you see fit to make in YOUR #BudgetTO #Budget2024 being one that would rob residents of #Scarborough of quality of day OR nightlife as we dig out from under heaps of snow at the end of our driveways, we don't see enhancing the city's night life as a priority.

@ReadOnl05607981 @reggcohn It would be nice if a scathing report from the Auditor General actually meant something. Recommendations don't come with enforcement mechanisms so what's the point?

If this is prime time for the Greenbelt bonanza, it is also a perfect time for the opposition to make the most of it — and run with it. Here's why this is one scandal Doug Ford may not be able to outrun. My wknd column: thestar.com/politics/polit…

@reggcohn As much as it is the job of politicians to govern responsibly, it is the job of voters to hold them to account. Holding them to account requires remembering the corruption and not falling for the BS when an election comes around.
