🇺🇸🇮🇷 How much is one American life worth? Yesterday, the U.S. military answered that question on Iranian soil. Priceless.
Two MC-130J special ops aircraft landed deep inside Iran to extract the injured F-15 pilot and rescue team.
Both became stuck in the soft desert ground south of Isfahan.
With Iranian forces closing in, the U.S. made the only decision they could: blow them up, rather than allow Iran to capture them.
Each MC-130J costs over $100 million.
Four MH-6 Little Bird helicopters used in the mission were also intentionally destroyed, and three additional aircraft had to fly into Iran to complete the extraction.
Iran claimed they shot them down.
But they said the same thing in 2011 when Navy SEALs blew up a Black Hawk chopper during the bin Laden raid.
The rescue succeeded. Both crew members are safe. The colonel who evaded Iranian forces for two days in the Zagros Mountains while wounded is alive.
The aircraft are gone. The pilots are home.
Worth it.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 He was wounded, alone, and hiding in the mountains… and people were actively hunting him.
After the F-15E was hit by a shoulder-fired missile, he ejected and survived. For more than 24 hours, he stayed hidden in a small crevice, trying not to be seen.
Hundreds of Iranian forces were out looking for him. Even locals were being offered money to capture him.
The U.S. was tracking signals, but it wasn’t simple. Some signals looked real, others felt like traps… there was a real fear he might already be captured.
Then a short radio message came through:
“God is good.”
That’s when they knew he was still alive.
One pilot had already been rescued earlier, in daylight, under heavy fire. Fast and risky.
This one was different.
A night operation. Around 200 special operations troops. A temporary base set up inside Iran. Everything slower, more careful… but just as dangerous.
Both crew members were miles apart. Iranian forces were everywhere.
In the background, Israel also helped a bit… sharing intel and hitting targets to slow things down.
He stayed hidden, held on, and waited.
And in the end… they got to him.

All schools and universities are now closed nationwide until further notice.
And Tehran is refusing a new U.S. ceasefire proposal, while also saying it won’t open the Strait of Hormuz.
Turkey, Egypt and Pakistan are trying to convince Iran to engage in peace talks, but Iran has declined to meet with U.S. officials.
Trump has no choice but to escalate, as per his threats.
