Today, May 22, is the birthday of Ensign Joshua K Watson. He should be 28 but died in 2019 at Pensacola naval base. Serving as Officer of the Deck, he was shot 5x but made it out to give 1st responders a desc & location for the shooter before succumbing... heroically saving many.

Today, March 12, is the birthday of Pedro Pineda. He would be 58 but he died, along with his wife, Rosa in the 2022 Greenwood Park Mall shooting. Easygoing, friendly, and humble, Pedro was a hard worker known for topnotch drywall work. Rosie provided in-home childcare.

Today, February 6, is also the birthday of PFC Michael Scott Pearson. He would be 37 but died at Ft Hood at only 22. Michael loved playing the guitar, enjoyed martial arts, and was a role model for his nieces, nephews, and friends.

Oregon's firearm storage law must be strengthened. If the Oxford HS shooting happened in Oregon, the gun owner would only face a $2000 fine and the possibility of a civil lawsuit. They would face no criminal charges and still be allowed to own firearms.
That is not justice.

Guilty Yes if you bring a deadly weapon into your home and do not secure it you will be held accountable if your child injures or kills another person. Negligent gun owners will no longer get a pass. Thank you Michigan for having the courage to do the right thing! We love you Ethan!

Today, Feb 6, would be the 95th birthday of Luis Alfonso Juarez. He died at the El Paso Walmart at the age of 90. Despite being the oldest victim of the attack, Luis was in good health, still drove, enjoyed several hobbies, & was about to celebrate his 70th wedding anniversary.
