@CenterPoint Update- someone picked up! The gentleman, I believe he said his name was Desmond, was super helpful and it was a pleasant 2 minute conversation! Only took an hour and 24 minutes to get there.....

The sheer, ridiculous _bureaucracy_ involved in trying to get new natural gas service provisioned is absurd to the Nth degree. It is a miracle that anything is ever accomplished in the modern era.

A week without gas and @CenterPoint is just taking their sweet time turning it back on. Waited 30 mins on the phone only for the dude to hang up on me because he was having phone issues. Now I’ve got to wait all over again. What a joke.

So @CenterPoint ..shows up unannounced..says .we need to change our meter ... it's 25 years old...odd ...then ..need entry into house to light the furnace.. Some people have to call a plumber... plumbers in our area $200 $300 an hour...

@CenterPoint you’re customer service is terrible. Opened a case on February 14,2026 due to discrepancy in final bill. Was told it was estimated. On a final bill that was double any other month ever. Fast forward to 3/18/2026. Can I just get a number for billing?
