The Romanian Parliament votes today on the motion of no confidence against Prime Minister Ilie @Bolojan. The motion was drafted and tabled jointly by Romania’s Socialist Party and the anti-European extremist party AUR. AUR is among Europe’s most radical anti-EU parties. It calls the EU “the new Soviet Union of Brussels,” opposes stronger European defence, and its leader George Simion is banned from entering both Ukraine and Moldova. If this motion passes, the European Socialists will have to explain why they aligned themselves with one of the most extremist anti-European forces in the EU. #Romania

Microsoft has confirmed that the April 2026 Patch Tuesday update is causing problems for many third-party backup tools on Windows 11. The update intentionally adds a specific kernel driver to the vulnerable driver blocklist for better security. Unfortunately, this change breaks Volume Shadow Copy Service functionality in several backup applications, leading to snapshot timeouts and failed backup or restore operations. Affected programs include: -Acronis Cyber Protect -Macrium Reflect -NinjaOne Backup -UrBackup, and others that rely on this driver. Microsoft recommends keeping the security update installed and contacting your backup software vendor for a compatible version that uses updated drivers. Uninstalling the patch is not advised as it leaves your system vulnerable. If your backups suddenly stopped working after the April updates, this is likely why.

European voters push back against open borders, so the pressure gets redirected. A non EU country is decimated by war. Its native male population's slaughter encouraged and funded by EU member states. It’s then opened up to large scale migration from the 3rd world to fill the gap. Later, it’s brought into the EU. Same outcome, just achieved indirectly without triggering immediate backlash in existing member states. Guess what, it's also distant enough that you can keep the migration taps on without drawing too much attention from the rest of the block. Now if only there was a way to stop Europeans discussing it online too - just to be sure. Oh wait...
